🚀 Stand Up

I reach out on Slack to my team, which includes Tom, the second engineer who actually knows what a pointer is, and Jared, our resident vibe designer/vibe architect. I share three new articles about exciting AI startups that popped up overnight. Dang it, I wish I had thought of those first!

Jared responds with some vibe-guiding prompts he’s been working on. He knocked out the required features yesterday in just 20 minutes after spinning up eight terminals and Gemini CLIs. Talk about productivity goals! 💪 Tom also messages me about some comments he left on my merge request regarding access control and reusing functions from the utils.ts file instead of remaking it. Clean code is so last year, right? But hey, at least I can connect to the Merge Request with my MCP in GitLab, and CoPilot will sort out those comments for me. Hello, sweet automation! 🎉

💻 Hard Work at a Startup

Now begins the meat of the day. I work for a startup called ExcelerMoji, a brand-new and totally epic venture. In my world, the barriers of creativity don't exist — we've got no time for boring algorithms!

I dive into UI/UX design, channeling all my energies into making the interface as vibrant and functional as possible. My team brainstorms some wild ideas that might just take off like an Elon Musk rocket!

As I work, I hear about several new AI frameworks that just launched, one of which encourages collaboration between developers and designers. Oh joy! Maybe, just maybe, my coding partner will stop bugging me about style? And yes, I’m still recovering from that last call about “best practices”... 😅

🤔 Reflection Time

After a power-packed morning, I take a moment to reflect on my journey in tech. As a software developer and girl dad, this profession has opened doors for me, allowing both my family and I to thrive. With every challenge and triumph, I grow more in love with creative coding and opportunity-knocking. 💖 As a bonus, I get to share this knowledge and excitement with my kids, showing them that exploring new avenues in technology is both a passion and a privilege.
